DAS-0009 — RotoFan Motor Cooling System

The DAS SPEED RotoFan is an ultra-compact motor cooling solution developed specifically for the space-constrained environment of 1/28 scale RC racing.

Mounted directly onto the motor shaft, the RotoFan generates significant airflow without the need for a separate powered cooling fan, offering an extremely compact and lightweight approach to motor temperature management.

In comparative back-to-back track testing, the RotoFan consistently reduced motor operating temperatures. Across repeated tests under the same running conditions, average final motor temperature was approximately 4°C (7°F) lower with the RotoFan installed, while measured temperature build-up was reduced by approximately 18%.

By helping manage the heat that can limit how much performance can be safely extracted from a motor, the RotoFan offers racers another tool for pushing their setup while keeping temperatures under better control.

Weighing less than 0.2 grams, the RotoFan adds virtually no weight and requires almost no additional space around the motor, making it particularly well suited to tightly packaged 1/28 racing chassis.
